AccommodationsThe Sorobon offers 28 chalets and two houses, all offering ocean or bay views.While providing a quiet and calming ambiance, each unit comes with fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, ceiling fans, bathroom and a terrace. Since the hotel is dedicated to providing a relaxing stay, the resort does not offer in-room phones or TV service; however, the phone at the reception desk is available as are two pay phones.
RestaurantThe Sugarbird restaurant located in the resort offers a variety of dishes. Breakfast is usually served buffet style; however, a menu is available for your selection.While lunch is the more casual style of hamburgers and salads, dinner should not be missed. As Simon, the chef, prepares daily specials, the menu offers a continental flair with steak, pasta and seafood. A vegetarian menu is also available. The resort bar serves as host to the weekly Manager’s party while offering drink specials and happy hour throughout the day.
ActivitiesWith provisions for most water activities, the Sorobon Beach Resort also offers a beauty salon for manicure and pedicures, while also offering yoga classes and massages. While the Sobobon at Lac Bay is not equipped for scuba diving, it offers excellent snorkeling. The resort also provides kayaks and rafts in the swim area, while a reef can be found just yards off the coast. A special treat for guests is each Monday you can board the “Woodwind” for a nude cruise to Klein Bonaire and the northern part of the island. With accommodations for snorkeling, you will be privy to several reefs along the way. For other activities, the reception desk is happy to arrange for any excursion you are looking for.
