Imagine beginning your snorkel journey in Bonaire on a Pirate Ship! You start your snorkel adventure to Klein Bonaire by boarding a 56’ privateer ketch (a ketch is a two masted vessel). Named the “Mistress”, this fine sailing lady is a wooden ship.

On the way to Klein you can help on board or you can listen to tales of Captain Mike. Captain Mike has been sailing for 34 years and has plenty of adventure stories to tell.

You get to Relax and enjoy the view on the wooden pirate ship as it sails through calm waters en route to the deserted island of Klein Bonaire.

We spotted some dolphin on the way to Klein Bonaire, that was a special added attraction to our sailing day. It's another kind of Bonaire fun!

It's always a bonus to an already wonderful start is the possible sighting of a pod of dolphins. (a group of dolphins is known as a pod)

With daily tours beginning in 1994, Captain Mike added a ship to his originally founded guided snorkel tour with the turtles. Since his beginning he has added the dolphins and now a snorkel adventure through underwater caves.

Klein Bonaire, a small uninhabited island off the coast of Bonaire, is considered to be the perfect snorkel and dive location.
With its pristine beaches and 100’ visibility, Klein Bonaire offers snorkelers an personal experience swimming with marine life and viewing coral formations not seen on the main island.

Twice daily he cruises the Mistress for a snorkel adventure and with the second sailing you can have pizza or barbeque waiting for your sail back to Kralendijk.
