Life is a Beach in Bonaire

Yes, Life is a beach in Bonaire!

Here is a picture of Batchelor's Beach. It's just one of many on the island.

The funny thing about Bonaire is how very different the beaches are from each other. Some are sandy, some are very rocky. If you check out the island you will be sure to find a spot that is perfect for you.

Lac Bay is the island hot spot for windsurfing and kitesailing. It has some nice sand for you to relax on so you can watch the wind surfers and kite sailors fly over the water and them some of them take off and they fly.

It's a great sport to watch. The human body is strong and beautiful when it is performing these sports. It is thrilling to watch the skill level of some of these great athletes.

Who knows! I may give it a try myself soon. If I fall, it's only into the beautiful warm water. That's not so scary.

This island is not famous for it's beautiful, sandy beaches. There are some pretty nice beaches there, but not like some of the other Caribbean islands.

You can find some nice sandy spots by a few of the hotels on the island. There may be a small fee to use them, but if that's what your looking for...you have found it!

This Caribbean island is known for the fabulous sea-life in the reefs that surround it. The rocky shoreline in Bonaire make the island perfect for shore diving.

Did you know that the water and reef that surround the island are a protected marine park?

You can put on your scuba gear and walk right into an underwater wonderland!
