With legendary status on the island, the Dive Friends Bonaire operation stresses quality above all else and has built its business on its family atmosphere for their many scuba certification courses, boat or shore dives.

In addition to offering diving expeditions, Dive Friends also offers snorkel excursions as well.

Having four locations throughout Bonaire allows Friends to offer orientation briefings, supplies and assistance no matter where you are staying.

Besides the four dive operations, they also maintain a dive shop that can provide new and rental equipment for your every need. With designations such as PADI Gold Palm Resort and National Geographic Family Dive Center reflect the upmost experience and knowledge in all courses offered from the beginner to the divemaster, they also offer special courses in technical diving for those seeking a more advanced dive.

Children’s Programs

Following PADI standards, and placing limitations on certificates issued, we offer the following:

SASY – Supplied Air Snorkeling for Youth

Bubblemaker – for children 8 and over, an introduction to diving Discover Scuba Diving – children to participate in scuba diving programs

Seal Team – for children 8 years and older, teaches the fundamentals of diving in a pool or shallow environment

Junior Diver or Junior Open Water Diver – for children 10 years and older can sign up for dives

Open Water Diver – for age 15 and older, normal PADI Open Water Diver certificate
