About The Blue View

Serving as a Bed and Breakfast, the property offers both privacy and customized service not seen in other hotels on the island.

While Esther prepares breakfast daily and is involved with the snorkel tours, pier and night dives. She is also an experienced PADI instructor and is responsible for the available PADI courses offered.

As Menno, also a PADI instructor, demonstrates his expertise in boat dives he is more than happy to take you to unexplored regions of the island for a true diving experience.

The Deep Blue View has 5 guestrooms each with a separate bath, giving your stay a more homelike feeling than the larger facilities on the island.

Each room’s décor represents the owners’ warmth and hospitality, while ensuring privacy.

Each unit opens to a large patio and contains local artwork displayed on the walls while offering the tranquility of relaxation.

All rooms include king size bed, sitting rooms, private bathroom, hair dryer, beach towels, ceiling fans, CD player and air conditioning.

WI-FI is also available on site. Unfortunately, children 15 and under cannot be accommodated.

Diving

While the owners, Esther and Menno not only serve as hosts of the Deep Blue View, they are also the dive instructors and provide boat dives unique to all others on the island.

As they provide PADI courses and certification, they handle all the paperwork for you and enjoy taking you to out of the way places, weather permitting.

The Deep Blue is also one of the few dive resorts on Bonaire that offer a 3-tank boat dive.

With 7 basic dive package offers, including open water certification, The Deep Blue will also design a package that fits your needs.

In addition to the standard and custom packages offered, Deep Blue also offers diving to the east coast of Bonaire.

However, due to conditions surrounding this area, restrictions apply to a dive here including only experienced divers with a minimum of 50 logged dives and knowing the person and having physically watched them dive are the only way to secure this dive opportunity.

Activities

As The Deep Blue View offers an in-house dive and snorkel operation, they are more than happy to arrange other activities on the island for you as well.

With so many things to do, windsurfing, kayaking and water trips to Klein Bonaire are just a few of the additional excursions that can be arranged.
