Here are some of the other rental agencies you will find on the island of Bonaire. You need a valid drivers license, a credit card and must be over the age of 25 to rent a vehicle while you are on the island. The security deposit is equal to the insurance deductible, so it can be expensive. Mine was 565.00 for a days rental...of course, as long as you are not involved in an accident it is just a deposit. I didn't realize it would be so high an amount and was pretty surprised when the rental agent told me how much the security deposit was. The insurance policy on the rental had different levels starting at 8.00, to 10.00 to 12.00. I just took the 12.00 one, I figured that would cover any Gap or other details.

I went to the gas station to fill up my rental vehicle and was quite surprised when the attendent told me it was 58.00...then I relized it was 58 Florin...not dollars. So I felt much better!
