When searching for a dive operator, it won’t take long before you hear Bruce Bowker’s name.

Considered one of the best divers on the island, it has been his passion for over 38 years. He first got his start in Bonaire in 1970 when he was hired as a divemaster for the only dive operation on the island which had been started in 1962 by Captain Don Stewart.

In 1980, Bruce Bowker began his own operation when he purchased the Carib Inn. The Carib Inn is so popular, reservations are hard to come by; however, has a full dive operation including a full PADI training center open to anyone from beginners wanting to learn how to dive or those seeking divemaster certification.

Staying at the Carib Inn is not a requirement for use of his facilities.

Offering top rate service and PADI certified instructors; Bruce’s dive operation is a major attraction for hard-core divers. Offering advanced divers more freedom, they appreciate his understanding of the freedom to dive.

Just as equal for the beginner, his expertise provides a first rate training experience for those just learning to enjoy the sport.

With a love of the sport, each staff member is happy to answer any questions you might have. With the experience available, a beginner can acquire their open water certificate and be completely at ease.

Discover Scuba Diving (1 day) Introduction to diving (all included*) Scuba Review 1/2 day Full day with boat dive Open Water Diver (4 to 5 days) Classroom, confined water, open water, final exam (all included*) Open Water Online Option Confined and open water (all included*) Open Water Referral (2 days -based on completion of all academic and confined water skills Complete your certification with four open water dives (all included*) Advanced Open Water (2 1/2 days) Supervised introduction to specialized diving activities: five dives - navigation, deep, plus three electives Rescue Diver (3 days) Techniques for assists through full rescue. Classroom, 12 open water scenarios, final exam. Divemaster (8 days minimum) Professional level (Prerequisite: Rescue, current CPR and First Aid) Specialties (2 to 4 dives) Deep, Wreck, Night, Drift, Boat, Navigation, Search and Recovery, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Naturalist, Multi-level.
