Buddy Dive Restaurants

While the Bella Vista provides a breakfast buffet, it is also host to the weekly theme dinners.

The Bella serves a la carte American and Caribbean cuisine for lunch and dinner and is also the home of the Wednesday Night “Cook on the Beach”, Friday night “all you can eat” BBQ Buffet and Saturday Steak Night, where eating an 18 ounce T-Bone will win you a T-shirt.

Located next to the Bella Vista is the Pool Bar where Wednesday night includes a movie about oceans along with popcorn and each Friday night hosts the Manager’s Rum Punch Party, with free snacks and rum punch, while listing to live music by Moogie.

Also located in the resort is the Lions Den Restaurant considered one of the top dining spots on Bonaire.

While dining above the water and able to star gaze, the menu offers selections for vegetarians as well as Tuesday’s Lobster night.

Accomodations at the Buddy Dive

While all rooms come equipped with air conditioned bedrooms, cable TV, phones, refrigerator and private balcony, the studio and apartments come with kitchens.

Each unit also offers a view of the gazebo and gardens or partial view of the ocean. The resort can also accommodate guests with cribs and roll-away beds if needed.

Buddy Dive Packages

As a DAN Member, the dive operation is also a PADI 5-Star Gold Palm Resort and Universal Referral Center.

Such designations and recognition allows Buddy Dive instructors to offer open water completion courses in addition to specialized courses and certifications.

With a dive operation that includes a complete rental and retail center, drive-thru fill station and a fleet of custom dive boats, the dive activities center can arrange a shore dive tour or any one of the dive boat opportunities provided daily.

In addition to unlimited shore diving located at the resort, and boat dive options, with 60 official sites on Bonaire and 20 listed on Klein Bonaire, there is sure to be a dive excursion that perfectly fits your needs.

Activities

While the staff at the center is happy to assist in recommendations, they also offer a daily excursion from the resort.

The activities can be included in a package deal or purchased separately during your stay. With an interest in snorkeling, where children as young as five can be included with SASY (Supplied Air Snorkeling for Youth) can include an on-site guide, a boat snorkel to Mangrove and even a night snorkel at the town pier.

While other activities through the Activity Center include sport fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, windsurfing, cave exploration, charters and a sunset cruise are all part of the resort’s weekly excursion options.

The daily list is posted at the center or the staff will be happy to arrange a custom tour to fit your needs.
