Bowalie, Bonaire Fun at it's Best

For a day of sailing and ultimate service the Bowalie leaves the Harbour Village Marina for an unforgettable voyage to the award winning underwater world and the diving and snorkeling sites that surround the island.

This is just one of the pleasures of boarding the Luxury Yacht. Another is that sailing tours are kept rather small, only 6 or 8 passengers at a time.

This makes it a much more personalized tour than most travelers are used to.

As Captain Walter and hostess Liezeth personally greet each guest, you will be able to enjoy four luxurious hours while the tropical winds and calm waters paint the perfect portrait of Bonaire’s capital Kralendijk on one side and Klein Bonaire on the other.

With the personal amenities only a luxury yacht can offer, you are free to sunbathe or just unwind as you are overcome by the surrounding beauty.

As the Bowalie moors, treat yourself to the picturesque underwater world that has been a well kept secret for years, as you encounter first hand marine life (we call it Bonaire fun!) of every imaginable color usually only detailed in magazine articles you have browsed.

As you head back to the Harbour, a light lunch and drinks are provided, and you know that you have just experienced the trip of a lifetime.

The Yacht

The Bowalie is Gibsea 402 Master built by Gilbert Marine.

For guest’s convenience, the yacht includes a swimming deck, freshwater shower, private changing facility and locked storage for your belongings.

By yacht is one of the best ways to see the island from the water, it's best view.

See a Romantic Sunset

Haven't you always dreamed of taking a sunset cruise aboard a luxury yacht? Well, the Bowalie offers you that opportunity.

Each evening, the Bowalie leaves Harbour Village Marina for a two hour (summer) and four hour (winter) sail around the bay.

For the picture perfect ending to a wonderful day you will be able to view one ofthe island's world famous sunsets. It can be one of the romantic highlights of your vacation.

If your into photography, you can get some great pictures from your yacht's deck.

More Bonaire Fun with Sail and Snorkel Tours

The North Tour takes you...yes, to the northern part of Bonaire.

You begin early morning with an excursion by 4 wheel drive truck to Washington Slagbaai National Park.

Your tour guide, Hans, an experienced naturalist will take you through the most well known sites of the park to include the east coast, blowholes, iguanas, parrots and pink flamingos.

You will experience nature at its best!

After lunch, served on the beach at Boka Slagbaai, you will have the chance to snorkel and have some Bonaire fun!

All this is followed by a return sailing adventure back to Harbour Village with Captain Walter and your hostess, Liezeth. This tour begins at 7:30 AM and ends about 5 PM. Not a bad way to spend a day.

The South Tour...yes, you guessed it, takes you to the southern part of the island.

You begin your journey with Captain Walter and Liezeth aboard the Bowalie as you travel to a special snorkel spot for more Bonaire fun.

After seeing for yourself what is too beautiful to be described, you board the yacht for a sail south to Pink Beach.

Your tour guide, Hans, will take you through the salt ponds and historical slave huts (this area is called red slave and white slave).

After you enjoy lunch at the “hang out bar”, your tour ends with a two hour kayak tour through the mangroves.

What an unbelievable trip!

The North and South tours offer the best of the island sights in a single day.
