Bonaire Dive and AdventureAs one of the largest operations on the island, Bonaire Dive and Adventure has the distinction of numerous awards including Caribbean Golden Coconut, PADI 5-star, SSI Training Facility and a Gold Palm. In addition, as a multilingual operation, classes can be taught in six languages. With a staff that provides unparalleled service and includes such specialties as a naturalist guide, Eco Adventures, children’s program, snorkeling and even an official Bonaire tour guide, you are sure to find the perfect excursion for diving or snorkeling. While Bonaire Dive and Adventure provide numerous boat trips daily, they also offer unlimited shore dives as well and offer easy shore access to the Bari Reef.
You might see an octopus in Bonaire and get to take a picture just like this one! SnorkelBonaire Dive and Adventure offers a snorkeling training program for all ages and skill levels. Training begins with an academic video presentation followed by a guided snorkel tour. Only half of the visitors to the island come for scuba, the rest snorkel! With the fringed reef surrounding the island Bonaire is the ideal snorkel paradise. Certification and Courses OfferedMost dive operations on Bonaire have a set schedule for the start of their classes and usually have minimum required number of students, Bonaire Dive and Adventure provides flexibility on the start of their classes. An added plus is the fact that only four courses have a minimum of 2 students, where all others have none. The center also offers private instruction as well.
While the center offers a diverse range of courses from beginner to Divemaster, they are also a Universal Referral Facility that allows certifications for seven agencies to include IDEA, NASDS, NAUI, PDIC, SSI, YMCA and SDI. The advantage these designations offer is that you can complete the academics and pool sessions certification training at home and complete your open water dives through the center and be eligible to receive your certification card from the original dive operation you began with. Specialty CoursesThe dive center also offers special courses in addition to regular PADI classes. Taught by experienced instructors, classroom sessions are short and there are no exams. Two to four dives depending on the course. Below are the specialty dive courses offered:

Children’s LessonsThe Ocean’s Classroom is a program for children that include snorkeling along with hands on experience with the ocean and its inhabitants. Also offered is SASY (Supplied Air Snorkeling for Youth) for children 6 years and older. With a floatation jacket and children’s tank, the course is to prepare children for further training and certification. In addition, the Bubblemaker program for children 10 years and older is offered to prepare them for a Junior Open Water
limited certification.
Snorkel and Dive PackagesSand Dollar is pleased to be offering FREE Nitrox Upgrades to certified Nitrox divers in conjunction with the "Ride to the Reef" packages. Dive Packages include seven nights’ accommodation in a waterfront condominium; daily breakfast buffet, seven days rental of a double cabin pickup truck*, 6 days of unlimited shore diving and 6 one tank boat dives. Non-diver rates and promotional prices are also available for studio, one bedroom and three bedroom condominiums, as well as for Sand Dollar "Learn to Dive" Package and "Discover Bonaire Adventure" Packages.
